The fingers are always slower than the mind. The fingers demand that sentences finish, periods be added and grammar be respected. The mind does not care. The mind wants to wander. As soon as you start writing, typing, laying it down on paper, the mind stops the wandering and comes back to the barn, head down, beaten to the resignation of the tedium of arranging the thoughts in coherent fasion.
